Addressing a combined gym, locker, and classroom buiding, the principal challenge of the commission was to address the accrued renovations over time and evolve a clear planning organization​ for a simplified space facility program (with lockers being relocated to a new north gym complex).

With an existing concrete frame and floor - and severe budget limitations - structural and mechanical exposure, (and its concomitant liberation of interior volume), was taken as a sustainable, aesthetic benefit.
