Centrally located on the campus, the building's conception and design addresses two respective axes of passage:

From the north student parking lots, which are significantly higher in topography than the Center, students can identify the building, day and night, by its continuous curvilinear skylight.

In the east/west direction, the curved skylight sits atop - and provides daylight to - a continuous mall of services.  This mall is a direct continuation of the main axial mall through the campus.

The skylight, at each end of the building continues lightly over tubular brick exit stairs, demarcating the building's main student entries.

The brick and cast stone building cladding reprises the palette used at the campus' inception, at an expanded scale and an intensified level of detail.
