Faced with a school district that mandated limits on classroom glass, the design challenge of the new classroom building and other campus renovations was to introduce a sense of welcome and educational pleasure 'through other means.'  These other means included layered indoor/outdor relationships, architectural and landscape rhythms, tonal brightness, and color.
