On the ground floor of a commercial office building, the Urban Discovery Academy sought to expand its classrooms and administration on additional floors of the commercial tower. 

The client|design team also sought to re-take the surface parking currently in the "U"-shaped courtyard, and develop instead area for outdoor kindergarten play.  This same area was utilized to expand the school's administration and provide a generous ground-level school library.
